Birth of MIELS

Made in Indonesia - Here in MIELS, we believe that hygiene goes beyond what meets the eyes. It is taking care about what we put into our skin. Initiated and nurtured by a concerned couple, MIELS was born out of the lack of options in skincare products that are gentle to the skin and beneficial to it for the long run. In the midst of an unending journey to find safe skincare products for the family, they decided to create their own clean beauty range.

Less is definitely more at MIELS, with our signature essential oil-infused soap usable for both the body and the face. Such approach represents the careful thinking behind producing a product, making sure each is truly a daily essential that would not create unnecessary waste. MIELS is gentle for all family members, including babies. A gesture of love, from one family to many others.

Each product is created for all family members (including babies!) in mind, safe to use daily and crafted without SLS, paraben, artificial coloring or preservatives. Everything MIELS is also gentle gentle to the nose as it is to the skin, with no artificial fragrances.

Michael Alinskie & Sherly Fausta
Experiencing the loss of a dear sister, a grandmother, and an aunt – all taken away by cancer, motivated our founder to learn about its causes. He was determined to lessen the amount of pollutant absorbed on a daily basis by urbanites. Eventually, he learned more about coconut – a plant with useful parts. Nothing goes to waste from a coconut, including its husk and trunk. From many trials, tests and tweaks – the Miels’s coconut soap, one of the first products was born.
From abundant research, learning process and careful selection, comes a range of skincare products that care for, hug and love your skin with only natural ingredients. The everyday skincare products are gentle to the nose as it is to the skin, with no artificial fragrances. One can take solace in the fact that everything MIELS is crafted without SLS, paraben, artificial coloring or preservatives.
